This is a "guy" book, all action and no character development. Girls, you're not going to like it. The plot is so complex and filled with cardboard characters that it is extremely difficult to keep straight. By the end (and I did finish it), I just didn't care how it resolved itself and...more...

Reich has created a very Ludlum-esque story with a "fish-out-of-water" theme....A heroic "Doctors Without Borders" physician is trying to determine why people are out to kill him after the tragic death of his wife while mountaineering...he soon discovers his wife may not have bee...more...

This was a heart-pounding, page-turning spy thriller. This book captured my interest before chapter one(there was a three page prologue). After finishing this book, I asked myself why I enjoyed it so much and I think is it because it is very similar to the Fox tv series "24". The intern...more...

This is an intriguing thriller. The protagonist traverses Europe in order to evade discovery and entrap the villains. Surprising twists keep the reader guessing the purpose of the espionage. This is one of the best books I have read this year and I recommend it to those who enjoy a good spy novel...more...

Ok, I am still reading this, and I will finish it because I bought it in an airport kiosk to keep me entertained on a flight home. However, be warned, it is slow, cumbersome, and the mystery is not all that mysterious. It does feature Switzerland and some cool scenery, and of course, the obligator...more...

This book qualifies as an "I can hardly put it down" selection. Briskly-paced, the story follows your typical "civilian", Jonathon Ransom, an MD, caught up in international intrigue. The main topic, Iranian nuclear arms, was certainly up-to-date. The story included a...more...

This mystery/adventure is a good but far from exceptional read. That said I read the sequel, Rules of Vengence and will probably read the next book set up in the second. The main character is a physician with Doctor's without borders. He gets embroiled in the spy game in interesting places in Europe...more...

This was a good fish out of water spy story. The main character loses his wife in a mountain climbing incident then finds two claim checks for packages intended for her. Collecting the packages leads him into a major intrigue involving Iran, Israel and the U.S. and exposes him to his wife's "...more...

Every novel I have read from Reich seems to get better. This is no exception. A fast paced good read that kept me turning the pages. An interesting plot involving the Swiss Intelligence community, the mighty U.S, of A., and of course the middle east. The hero, You always have to have a hero in these...more...
