Summary: Once upon a time. . .a former beauty queen belonged to a Medieval Society. . .until she learned the hard way that raising money for charity required more of her than a smile and a sash draped over her ample bosom. The weekend medieval fundraiser meant more to Devin Kidder than anything in the world, and its success hinged on convincing the lovely Janet Jemseg to be his bride, -- for the weekend only, of course. Janet has been burned before by handsome men, so when Devin turns on his own special charm to lure her assistance, Janet decides it's time to teach this devil-may-care 'knight' not to play with a maiden's heart.Except, now she's left wondering if either of their hearts will survive the 'punishment' she has in mind!

Author biography: When Barbara Phinney took an early retirement from the Canadian Army, she set her sights on writing. She's always loved romance and with two children and a Maritimer husband, romantic comedy seemed a natural choice. Indeed, many of the people around her were the inspiration behind the characters in her book, All For A Good Cause. Nowadays, Barbara lives in New Brunswick, where her story is set, happily raising a family and enjoying the blessings of her friends. She invites her readers to write to her.
