Summary: Romance/Medical Comedy
Dr. Dixie Delaney doesn't deliberately knock her childhood playmate, Dr. Nate Ryan, out cold with a shovel at her grandmother's funeral.
Despite this bad start to reappearing in Dixie's life, Nate now wants her for a different sort of playmate. But Dixie knows he's just teasing—as usual. Since when does every woman's dream man want a woman with a limp?
To Dixie's dismay, Nate unexpectedly inherits her home in rural New Zealand; to his surprise the job he desperately wants in Africa stipulates a married man. The obvious solution? Marriage, of course—a job for a house.
