Paul's first steps in the shoes of cartoonist began at the age of 7 when his father sketched him a drawing of a Fred Flintone-esque character to colour in. That drawing and his love for the incidental characters that appeared in the Pink Panther Show inspired him to create his 'Fred' character shortly after.
Some 30 years later, a few of those original strip gags survive in the guise if The Amoeba. Originally doodled in the margins if his maths book during lessons, the amoeba has been around for 20 years in one form or other. Only recently, with the dawn of the internet, has anyone outside family and friends seen Paul's work.
Presently residing in North East England, Paul still has aspirations as a cartoonist and maybe one day will make his first submission.
